Rachel Hynes

Bound by no rules, Rachel devises collaborative, innovative performances that deal with wounding, healing and resilience that ping pong between the sacred and the profane. A master educator and three-time Artist Fellow with the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Rachel has worked with Richard Forman’s Ontological-Hysteric Incubator, National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Montgomery College, On the Boards Northwest New Works Festival, Cultural DC’s Mead Theatre Lab Program, Theatre Alliance and Forum Theatre.

Rachel also helps others develop their own work through private consultation and presentation coaching. She is using her residency to explore hybridizing the contemplative arts with online courses, to help others live creatively.
