Hayley Cutler

Hayley Cutler, M.F.A. is a choreographer, performer and dance educator based in Washington, DC. She is the founder and Artistic Director of darlingdance, a feminist postmodern dance company currently in its eighth season. Her work has been presented locally at Dance Place, Dance Exchange, Atlas Performing Arts Center, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Greenberg Theatre, Jack Guidone Theater, Torpedo Factory Art Center and in Boston, Chicago and London. As an educator, Hayley is currently on the faculty of The George Washington University’s Theater & Dance department, and is the founder of darlingspace, a boutique dance education studio located in Shaw, DC. She also teaches or has taught for: ArtStream, Inc., Melwood VA, Project Create DC, Imagination Stage and Joy of Motion Dance Center. As a 202Creates Resident, Hayley will be working to expand darlingspace into a multi-use site for independent dance artists; providing affordable rehearsal space, performance and teaching opportunities, co-working space and more.
