The museum partners with Remake D.C. to celebrate the opening of Source Material: Lessons in Responsible Fashion with a community-driven event inspired by responsible fashion movements and the DIY spirit of the nation’s capital. 

 Featuring the music of cellist and weaver Janel Leppin, this after-hours event features the best of reuse and fashion in the DMV. Explore the Source Material exhibition and strut the gallery catwalk in our “Wreck the Runway” fashion show. Show off your best thrift finds, favorite hand-me-downs or latest upcycling project. The only rule? #NoNewClothes
