202Creates residency program

The 202Creates Residency Program provides creative and artistic entrepreneurs with resources to build their creative businesses. The Residency Program also provides a community of creatives to bounce ideas off of, draw energy from, and develop new collaborations and connections with.

co-working day

Each month, the 202Creates team invites the District's creatives and entrepreneurs to work out of OCTFME's offices, meet fellow creatives, attend skill building sessions, get drop-in support for specific business or legal questions, participate in feedback sessions, share thoughts and experiences during roundtables, and more!

photography & podcast studios

In keeping with Mayor Bowser’s commitment to support the creative economy and create a nurturing environment for DC’s creative entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses, the District’s Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment (OCTFME) launched the 202Creates Podcast Studio and 202Creates Photography Studio. Time in the studios are available to the District's creatives, as well as educational tools for those looking to develop their audio and photography skills.
