DC Music Download: George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic will play a free show in D.C. on Sept. 10.

Their performance is a part of the 202 Arts & Music Festival, an all-day event filled with live music, art exhibitions, workshops and more sponsored by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities. It’s a free show, but you’ll have to RSVP via Eventbrite to guarantee a spot.

The festival is a part of Mayor Muriel Bowser‘s initiative called 202Creates, which aims to spotlight D.C.’s creative community through a series of events during the month of September. The DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities’ big Labor Day Weekend Music Festival is one of those events, in addition to Art All Night on Sept. 24, Snallygaster on Sept. 17 and Sonic Circuits music festival between Sept. 9-11.
