#WBLFEST is a culmination of almost a dozen activations throughout The District teaching the world the many ways we can grow withHip-Hop. Artists, teachers, activists, scholars, and everyone in between and beyond have something dope to love & learn.

The majority of the festival takes place at the John F Kennedy Center for Performing Arts with a few satellite events around DC. The WBL Festival features performances, workshops, battles and presentations. Confirmed guests include Grandmaster Flash, DJ Premier, and DC’s own MC/producer, Oddisee. This 6-day Hip-Hop voyage will also launch a new two-year project by Words Beats and Life called “From Sifrs to Ciphers: Hip Hop is Muslim.” Plan your own #WBLFest!
